Cisco is the worldwide leader in networking that transforms how people connect, communicate and collaborate. Cisco has shaped the future of the Internet by creating unprecedented value and opportunity for our customers, employees, investors and ecosystem partners.

Imperva has collaborated with Cisco to streamline deployment and management of the SecureSphere Web Application Firewall (WAF) in Cisco virtual switching environments. SecureSphere virtual appliances leverage vPath, a capability of the Cisco Nexus 1000V virtual switches, to offer customers transparent deployment, fail open high availability, and service chaining. By supporting Cisco vPath and VMware vMotion, SecureSphere offers customers fast, easy deployment and live migration of WAF instances to new host servers. In addition, the SecureSphere WAF can be provisioned on the Cisco Nexus 1010/1110 appliance to provide separation of duties between the SecureSphere WAF administrator and server administrators.

Amazon Web Services
Launched in 2006, Amazon Web Services delivers cloud computing to hundreds of thousands of enterprises and government customers. The ultimate benefit of cloud computing, and AWS, is the ability to leverage a new business model and turn capital infrastructure expenses into variable costs. Businesses no longer need to plan and procure servers and other IT resources weeks or months in advance. Using AWS, businesses can take advantage of Amazon's expertise and economies of scale to access resources when their business needs them, delivering results faster and at a lower cost.

Imperva has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to extend its best-of-breed web application security solutions to Amazon AWS environments. Organizations around the world are moving their application infrastructure to Amazon to eliminate expensive upfront capital investments and maintenance costs. Imperva has developed a SecureSphere virtual appliance that can be easily deployed in the AWS Cloud. The Imperva SecureSphere AMI, or Amazon Machine Image, supports important AWS features like Elastic Load Balancing for fault tolerance and scaling. The Imperva SecureSphere AMI has been released under controlled availability.
